Waraqah ibn Nawfal settled firmly upon Christianity and followed its scriptures until he acquired knowledge from the People of the Book. ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Jahsh remained uncertain until he accepted Islam, then migrated with the Muslims to Abyssinia with his wife Umm Habibah bint Abi Sufyan, who was Muslim. When he arrived there, he became Christian, abandoned Islam, and died there as a Christian.
