Explanation
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) pointed out that there is a supererogatory prayer between every Adhān and Iqāmah, repeating this three times. He informed in the third time that this is recommended for whoever wants to offer this prayer.
Benefits
Prayer between the Adhān and Iqāmah is recommended.
It was part of the Prophet's guidance to repeat his statement, so as to make it heard and stress the significance of what he said.
The "two Adhāns" refers to the Adhān and Iqāmah. They are called two Adhāns for its dominant usage, such as saying: the two moons (i.e., the sun and the moon) and the two ‘Umars (i.e., Abu Bakr and ‘Umar).
The Adhān announces that the time of prayer has come, and the Iqāmah announces that prayer is about to be performed.
